COMPUTROL SUPPORT
System ImplementationDuring the implementation of a software project, Computrols team provides direct support to customers. Our implementation team is comprised of specialists in the areas of installation, conversion, interfacing, testing, training and documentation. This team can provide on-site support for our customers both before and after the actual installation of the software. Leading up to and during the actual installation, Computrol personnel assist the customer team in several key areas of the project. Application Development SupportComputrol provides support to application developers as they use eBASE® to enhance existing applications or develop new e-business applications. Computrol personnel are available to assist in the use of eBASE templates, dictionary definitions and the presentation layer to create new applications, extend legacy applications to new channels or integrate existing applications. Interface Development SupportComputrol provides any required assistance in the development of interfaces to other applications or to other delivery platforms and channels such as PCs, Internet or interactive voice response. Conversion Software DevelopmentComputrol develops software to convert the current applications to the format required by the new application. The customer provides test files for Computrol to test the conversion software to assure proper conversion of existing files. Installation SupportComputrol personnel help install, test and implement software in your environment. On-site support can be provided during the initial installation process and during the actual conversion process. Testing SupportComputrol helps user testing teams develop test scenarios and test data to exercise all of the features of the application. Computrol has developed specialized testing software to recreate online data entry for repetition of the test cycles. Training and DocumentationComputrol provides both technical and user application training at Computrols facility in St. Louis or at the clients site. Course formats include formal presentations and hands-on training. Computrol provides standard documentation with its applications. Annual Maintenance ServicesAfter software is placed into production, Computrol provides ongoing maintenance support. Maintenance services are provided at an annual cost and include application updates and releases, documentation updates, problem resolution, hot-line support and regulatory updates. Customers report problems to Computrol customer support representatives who are available during normal business hours and by pager during non-business hours. Individual CustomizationComputrol works with customers under individually negotiated arrangements to add customer specific enhancements.
