You can access DB2 no matter where the database resides. You don’t need to spend time on the laborious and technical process of defining the SQL query. The quick point-and-click user interface collects the query criteria and constructs a SQL query - ready to run. And you can save the query template to use again and again if you wish. eBASE DB2 Dynamic Processor works with DB2 5.2 and higher.

Customer service, business analysts, MIS staff, department managers and technicians can extract information from DB2 and bring it to their PC workstation. Once on the desktop, you can export query results to Lotus 1-2-3, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and other formats in one step.

Updating the database with new rows or making changes to existing rows is easily accomplished with eBASE DB2 Dynamic Processor. In fact, a single entry can be used to update multiple rows on the database in one step.

Product Features

	Establish query arguments with straight forward and powerful selection conditions. Single values, range of values and lists of values are used to create arguments to mine the database.
	Create arguments to select information or to exclude information. This feature makes the query creation process extremely efficient.
	Wildcards enhance the data mining capability by substituting for data values in the query.
	With a point-and-click interface, you have complete control over the information to display and in the order the information displays.
	The number of selection arguments for a specific query are unlimited.
	You can use any DB2 columns to order the result set in ascending or descending sequence.
	Save your query template with the save dialogue box.
	You may run previously created queries simply by selecting the query template and the Run Previous Query option.
	Save your query result and you can access it again from the DB2 Main Menu.
	Export information to other formats using the Save Results dialogue. eBASEDB2 Dynamic Processor supplies file formats for Lotus 1-2-3, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and other formats.
	Add new rows to DB2 with the eBASE Copy functionality. Simply select the row you want to copy, enter the new key, make any changes and the save the new row.
	Modify or delete existing DB2 information with the eBASE DB2 Dynamic Processor. You simply enter the update in the appropriate column and save the entry. The Dynamic Processor handles the posting and editing of the new information.
	You can apply changes to multiple rows in a single operation. This feature saves considerable time and, more importantly, ensures accuracy in database changes.
	Database updates invoke special eBASE editing and security checks in addition to DB2 constraints.
	eBASE DB2 Dynamic Processor includes an audit report of changes to designated columns. The report displays ‘before’ and ‘after’ information for deletions, insertions and changes along with the date and operator making the change.
