Computrol To Relocate Its World Headquarters and Add Chicago Office
St. Louis, MO. - November 30, 2000 -- Computrol, Inc. today announced plans to relocate its world headquarters within the St. Louis area on January 5, 2001. The relocation is part of Computrol's ongoing expansion plans. In addition, Computrol announced that it will open a Chicago-based facility as a further step in implementing those expansion plans. After more than fifteen years at its current location, Computrol will move its headquarters operations to new offices at 390 South Woods Mill Road, Chesterfield, MO, 63017. "Our new headquarters will facilitate our expected future growth by providing the space necessary to expand our marketing, administrative and development efforts in St. Louis while we add new facilities outside of the St. Louis region to provide direct customer support," said Mike Allen, president of Computrol. "Our new St. Louis facility will also allow us to complete several planned operational initiatives including an expansion of our on-site computer facilities," said Holly Fuller, executive vice president of Computrol. "As we have expanded our eBASEŽ product line, we have needed to add new computer hardware and additional support equipment and the new facilities are designed to accommodate that growth. Additionally, the new facility is fully ' wired ' and will allow us to implement a new 'telecommuting' option for many of our development and other personnel. This option gives employees the ability to work from their residences or other outside locations much of the time but still have work and meeting space available when they need to be in the office." Computrol's new Chicago location, at 550 Warrenville Road, Lisle IL, 60532, will be operated in connection with Paradigm Concepts, Inc., Computrol's Chicago-based distributor. "Our move to the Chicago area is the first step in our plan to add offices in a number of cities throughout the U.S.," said Mike Allen. "The Chicago office expands our relationship with Paradigm Concepts and allows us to begin locating our eBASE customer support personnel in closer proximity to our customers. This is important because once customers begin using eBASE, they find more and more opportunities to deploy it elsewhere in their organizations. We want to make that expansion as simple as possible by having our personnel close to provide any required on-site assistance." Both the St. Louis and Chicago offices have facilities to demonstrate eBASE and other Computrol software products. Customers can now visit either location for product demonstrations as well as product support. Computrol's St. Louis telephone and fax numbers remain unchanged. New telephone and fax numbers for the Chicago facility will be announced shortly.
